For the 8th time, interested students from the mechanical engineering course at TU Dresden visited Profiroll in Bad Düben. After a theoretical introduction to the Profiroll business model and the wide range of applications of the cold rolling process, the students were able to experience the forming process live at various workstations.
In addition to the profile and thread rolling technology, the gear rolling technology and the ring rolling technology were also presented by the engineers and technicians of the process development at the rolling machines.
